What exactly is a Bill Payment Service?

Pine Island Bank Bill Payment Service allows you to schedule bill payments. Pine Island Bank will automatically pay your current, future and recurring bills from your checking account. Accounts that require two or more signatures to withdraw or transfer funds may not be used as a Bill Payment account. There is no limit to the number of payments. You may pay anyone through the Bill Payment Service. However, we are unable to process any payments to federal, state or local tax agencies.

How does Pine Island Bank's Bill Payment Service Work?

On the date noted in your Bill Payment set up, a check is prepared and sent to the designated payee through the U.S. Mail by the Pine Island Bank or the payment is made through automated entry.

How will I know when payments have been made?

Through Pine Island Online Banking, you will be able to view your checking activity on screen and see bill payments made. The payments will also be shown on your monthly account statement.

Sounds great but how much does it cost?

You will be assessed a $3.00 monthly bill payment fee, plus a 40¢ charge for each payment issued fee.
